- the tabs that hold the body to the frame have broken...
I cut those tabs off and then glue styrene to the shell on the pilots to fill the gap between the frame and the coupler pad. Then I drill a #50 hole through the center of the coupler box, down through the frame and into those styrene pads. Finally, I tap the hole for a 2-56 screw and use one of the Kadee long nylon 2-56 screws to attach the couplers and to hold the shell onto the frame.
Way better than those stupid tabs that always break. To remove the shell, take out the coupler screws. With all the tabs cut off, the shell pops right off.
