- LED Lights
- Direct wired Panel switched on/Off LED light list [9V = 3 LEDs per 'set']
- 1 red, 1 green, 4 white :Navigation [3+3]
- 5 blue, : Formation [3+(2+1)]
- 6 white; : 2 Taxi, 2 Landing, 2 Leading edge [3+3]
- Interior lights... TBD - hooked to Door servos [?]
- 2 Red strobes [...]
- 555 timer, 1000 microfarad uF capacitor, PN2222 Transistor, 150Ohm, 1200ohm (BRR) resistors :
- Or even easier is to buy strobing LEDs ... available from many on line sites.
- The Arduino Uno is connected to the board hanging at the tail . This board contains the motor control electronics and servo wire to connect to the wires sticking up into the air on the left side of the underbelly. The board to the right side of the plane contains the switches to select the LED lights on/off. The wires from the Arduino to this board are the connecting wires to the motors. The computer wire going to the underside of the plane are the LED and motor wires. Thus all wires can be disconnected when mounting the plane onto the diorama. In the upper right of the box is the Stryker and its controller.
- Closeup of the wire connections... as they are beneath the 'surface' all the ugly is hidden away and blocked by the wheels.
- Build:
- Plane is 2" wide, Internal Gangway : 1.5 x 6.5
- Engines are 1.75 and 4.5 from plane and are 1.25 from center of wing and extend 1.25 in front of wing : Engine wires were made 8 and 10 " long... should give me enough rope ... the motors and their wire are ~2".
- Wings : Motors and lights
- Body Door servos and lights
