V-22 Osprey Bell Boeing :tiltrotor aircraft :sprays oil, guzzles fuel, slow with limited people only capacity. The Marines changed the requirements so often it is suprising the thing flies at all. Length: 57 ft 4 in (17.5 m), Rotor diameter: 38 ft 0 in (11.6 m), Wingspan: 45 ft 10 in (14 m), Width with rotors: 84 ft 7 in (25.8 m), Height: 22 ft 1 in/6.73 m; overall with nacelles vertical (17 ft 11 in/5.5 m; at top of tailfins)

As the video says - use SMD LEDs (Surface Mounted Device - Light Emitting Diodes the size of pin heads) instead of LEDs and put all the electronics inside the plane. Use a mini Arduino for the motors, strobes, and IR detector; a small solderable breadboard to connect the SMDs and switches; construct the motor drivers inside each motor area. Construct so the 2 halves electronics are connected with pins rather than soldered... or have long wires that can be stuffed somewhere.

There are 1/72 scale C17 and C5 resin models for ~ $200 and $400... eeouuhh you could drive tanks through the C5.

Each Division would have a BDE of mixed type Helicopters and a BDE of mixed type aircraft

An air group of carrier based USN AC during the Guadalcanal campaign consisted of four squadrons. The fighting squadron, VF, comprised 27 F4F4s, the bombing squadrons, VS and VB, each had 18 SBD3s, and the torpedo squadron VT, had 18 TBF1s. You guys always seem to want to neglect the airdales.
WW2 R.A.F. Squadrons generally consisted of 12 aircraft available (+6 spares), although there were operational variations. Depending on role, the squadron would be made up of 'A' Flight and 'B' Flight, each of 6 operational aircraft. On fighter squadrons, the Flights were sub-divided into sections, eg, Red Section, Blue Section, etc, of 2-3 aircaft
an F-15 fighter wing will have 72 aircraft of 3 squadrons of 24 aircraft each
The F-117 are serving with 3 squadrons of some 18 aircraft each.
F-16 squadrons may have up to 25 aircraft
B-2s are for example divided into 3 squadrons of 6 aircraft each and one detachment of 2 (or maybe 2 squadrons of 7 and 1 of 6).

The elements within each aviation brigade are organized into battalions (similar in size to an Air Force squadron ??? NO. AF Squadron = Army Company or Cav Troop. A Cav Squadron = army Battalion),

Full spectrum combat aviation brigades (formerly medium) have one aviation attack battalion (24 x AH-64 Apache), one reconnaissance squadron (30 x OH-58D Kiowa Warrior), an aviation assault battalion (30 x UH-60 Black Hawk), a general aviation support battalion (8 x UH60 Command Aviation, 12 x CH-47 Chinook and 12 x HH-60M) and an aviation support battalion.
